HOW WE GET YOUR INFORMATION

We receive your information directly from you for the following purposes:

  • To enter into a contract for services
  • To administer your account with us
  • To investigate and resolve incidents you report
  • To send you direct marketing about events, webinars and offers

We also receive personal information indirectly from Commercial partners such as Distributors, System Integrators and Resellers.

We may share information with Distributors, System Integrators and Resellers for managing the commercial relationship, and with Cloud Service Providers for the purpose of managing our Sentry platform.

Contractual Obligation

When you negotiate to enter a contract or agreement with us, we will process any personal data necessary to create or administer the contract — ensuring we can deliver services to you and that you can use our software's full range of features.

Where you are a prospective customer, we may contact you periodically and send invites to webinars, events and other direct marketing material.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties without permission.

We use companies to provide services to us. These companies are considered data processors bound by stringent contractual and technical controls. They will not do anything with your data other than follow our written instructions.

It is possible, though unlikely, that we might be forced to disclose your information in response to a court order or other binding mandate.

HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

We use stringent technical, organisational and contractual security controls.

We keep these controls under review and regularly carry out scans and testing to ensure that our controls are working effectively.

RETENTION PERIODS

How long we keep data depends on what we need it for.

  • Service enquiries are retained for 6 years
  • Personal data related to any contract is kept for a minimum of 6 years after contract expiry
  • Server logs are kept for up to 1 year
